What is HCP?
Housing Choice Partners is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a wide range of housing choices for its clients. HCP works with low-income families that receive a voucher from an area Housing Authority. The Housing Authority administers the voucher program and HCP provides additional services.
1. Counseling clients about where to search for housing, how to be a good tenant, how to manage finances, and how to maintain good housekeeping habits.
2. Motivating clients to move to high job-growth areas and to obtain needed training, or employment.
3. Mediating any landlord/tenant issues and assisting with Housing Authority procedures if needed.
4. Providing supportive services after a move to assist the client with transportation, child care, employment or any other problems they may encounter.
We are also available for landlords — to assist in any way we can to make your experience with the voucher program a good one. Our goal is to help families become self-sufficient and to create a growing list of happy landlords.
What Does HCP Do For Landlords?
HCP Provides :
1. HCP lists your available rental units (contact Rosetta Bowen Garner).
2. Tenant referrals for your units.
3. Assistance with any paperwork or inspections necessary.
4. Mediation of any problems arising during move-in or afterward.
